I am a regular guest at the Seattle Gaslight Inn and there's no place I'd rather stay! My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and I've never booked another place in Seattle since then.
I come up every other month for school and I absolutely love everything about the Inn. Having such a warm environment makes stressful weekends significantly better. Ryan and Joelle are phenomenal hosts and the animals are an added bonus.
I've stayed in several different rooms and they have all been comfortable, clean, and relaxing. I've had the opportunity to connect with other guests and who have been kind and engaging which makes the Inn completely different than any other hotel.
I am already looking forward to my next trip!
Loved the stay. The building and rooms are fantastic, as it's a historic building that has been fully renovated to become a quaint, classy bed and breakfast. The rooms are cozy and well maintained. The hosts were amazing. The location is walking distance from all things-Capitol Hill, so if you want to lose your voice doing karaoke like we did, you won't even need to get a cab after. I'd absolutely stay here again, and found it to be a great option for a fantastic location for a solo traveler, with a couple friends or a significant other.
Quirky, comfortable and a brilliant location. We stayed for a couple of nights post cruise. We loved the location, with bus stops close by. There's a Safeway store just up the road. Breakfast was self service with a great selection. Cereal, bread, bagels, fruit and loads more. For me, it was great to have tea (sorry guys I don't like coffee). My husband tells me it was great. The room had a fantastic view, and although not an en suite, it did have a private bathroom, and an very comfortable bed, and it came with a small fridge. My only slight issue, was the stairs up to the room. They were a bit narrow, especially with a couple of large suitcases. It was unfortunate that we were there in October, the pool was closed for the winter. All in all we had a lovely stay. Thanks to all the family for the warm welcome, that included the cats and a very friendly yellow Labrador.
The Gaslight Inn was fantastic!!! The ambiance and the aesthetic stood out. The room had everything you could ask for: bathroom of course, with shower, mini fridge, desk, tv, bedside table, firm and soft pillows, and the bed was very comfortable and had several layers of sheets, blankets, and comforter. The hosts were fantastic as well! Very accommodating, helpful, and responded to questions quickly. The food was great too!
We stayed at Seattle Gaslight Inn 2 nights as part of a 4 week US trip. We always look for unique places to stay and SGI ticked all the boxes. Beautiful historic building, comfortable beds, quiet at night, great breakfast, very friendly hosts. Our attic rooms did not have an on suite so we. shared a bathroom on the floor below - we felt like we were staying at a friends house. Our timing was perfect as the trees of the neighbourhood, Capital Hill, we’re in full autumn colours. Greeted with a perfect sunny day, we took advantage and walked downtown. A great stay at the inn!
I had a delightful stay at the Seattle Gaslight Inn! I was there for a work event, and it was conveniently located within walking distance of the school. There are lots of great restaurants around as well as cute shops and stores for basic needs. Ryan and Joelle are wonderful hosts and even accommodated our group by serving breakfast early before we needed to leave each day. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room by the fire in the evenings, and the bed in my room was so comfortable! I will definitely look forward to staying at the Gaslight Inn again!
The Gaslight Inn is a must stay. Gorgeous historic building with amazing vibes and really comfortable rooms. The area filled with great restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Best part was the staff though- they really take great care of you and you feel like family. Absolutely will come back- highly recommend!
We stayed here for 2 nights before our Alaska cruise. It’s a beautiful guesthouse and so personally and welcoming run by Joelle & Ryan.
Their breakfast selection has a fantastic choice & a great way to start the day. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and definitely check out Harry’s Bar for the pizza! It’s a good 25 min stroll to downtown but through interesting streets. We’ll be back.
Continued success with your business.
